No, alas, anti-wrinkle treatments will not be saving us from the recession. They may however help plastic surgeons make it through this financial crisis. More evidence indicates the same phenomenon that which was mentioned here a couple of weeks ago: while major plastic surgery has been hit hard by the recession, non-invasive, and cheaper, procedures are growing strong.
We may not be able to afford a complete facelift, but that does not mean wrinkles have to win. From Botox to Restylane - makers of fillers and other injectibles seem to be joining the enviable camp of recession-proof industries.
It remains to be seen what happens in 2010, when, hopefully, markets recover from the current recession. There is only so much botox and fillers can do, after all. Could it be that 2010 will be the year of facelifts?
Happy Smooth New Year Everyone

This DVD is manufactured on demand, so you may or may not get it in time…. but then again, going through any kind of elective surgery is something that you need to take the time to consider - during or after the holidays, so still a good buy.
With plastic surgery costing you thousands, if not tens of thousands, of dollars, do yourself a favor and spend the $19.90 or so and get this DVD. Then sit back and learn all the facts you need from a medical expert.
This product is sold via Amazon, so you know you’re in good hands with their shipping and return policies. Click here for the product page on their site.

According to this recent article in USA Today, cosmetic surgery is being hit by the recent economic crisis, and it is not a pretty sight. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) polled its member and results indicated a whopping decline of no less than 62%!
The more affordable cosmetic procedures, meaningly the operations, are the ones hit the most. More affordable procedures, priced at under $1000 still remain popular. These include Collagen Injections and other fillers, as well as Botox treatments.
